Developing and creating biomaterials from mushroom mycelium.
Ana Laura Cantera is a bioelectronic artist, researcher and professor from Argentina, currently pursuing her PhD in Arts and Technoesthetics at Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF).
She works as a professor in the Master in Technology and Aesthetics of Electronic Arts, in the Diploma in Environmental Humanities in the intersection between Art and Technology at UNTREF, and in the Specialisation of Sociology of Design, at Buenos Aires University. In her work, she develops and creates biomaterials, specialising in grown designs from mushroom mycelium.
