A great year!

As we close this chapter and look forward to the future, I want to express my gratitude for an incredible year filled with achievements and progress in the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Here are some of the key highlights:

Welcoming New Innovators to Our STEAM Family.

2023 brought us the privilege of welcoming six brilliant innovators to our community: Maja Petric, Ana Carolina Estarita-Guerrero, Ana Laura Cantera, Katrina Richter-Lunn, Maroula Zacharias, and Yan Shao. Their contributions are invaluable.

"The Art in STEAM" Podcast Season 1 Release.

One of the highlights of the year was the launch of our new podcast, "The Art in STEAM." In season 1, I engaged in deep conversations with the talented Femmes Designers community. A big shout-out to Roshan Roberts for her invaluable support in making it happen. With seven thought-provoking episodes, we aimed to shed light on the intersection of the arts and STEM through stories told by women in the field. Launch Event and Panel Discussion.

It took three months of meticulous preparation, and the response was overwhelming. Special thanks to Rajani Rao from Women Who Code for gracing us with her presence on the panel alongside the inspiring voices of Jiani Zeng, Noemie Soula, and Maroula Zacharias. Their insights into interdisciplinary work and pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation in STEAM fields left an indelible mark.

Additionally, I'd like to thank the talented artists who showcased their artworks at the exhibition – Ana Carolina Estarita-Guerrero, Kaoru Tanaka, Jiabao Li, Noemie Soula, Ana Laura Cantera, Katrina Richter-Lunn, Weidi Zhang, Soomi Park, Jiani Zeng, and Yan Shao. It was a privilege to host the event at the Shoreditch Arts Club, surrounded by a vibrant and like-minded community of creatives. A big shout-out to Mariella Hilton and her team for bringing our vision to life. (Read more on our blog here.)

Inspiring Conversations.

Last but not least, I had the pleasure of meeting remarkable individuals who share our passion for innovation and gender equality in STEAM. Special thanks for engaging in fascinating and inspiring conversations about the future of innovation in STEAM.

As we step into the new year, I'm excited for more successes and growth in the world of STEAM. Let's continue pushing boundaries, championing gender equality, and creating a brighter future together!

Let’s live in a world designed by everyone.

Warmly,
